A Life Priority The counselor asks, “What are your goals, your dreams?” Tommy stares blankly at the counselor until his mom wakes him with a tap on the head. “What was the question?” “He doesn’t care,” interrupts mom. “Tommy, your dreams?” “I dream each day my life won’t amount to a cost of necessity.” Mom cries, “He’s worthless.”
