New Prompt!

While you were walking at the beach, a giant wave plowed over you and took you out to sea. Tell about your sea voyage.

JUST A WALK BY THE SEA!

I was writing one day by the shore of the sea,
when i became restless, yearned to roam free!
I took a long walk on the beach, by the sea--
there was no one else there to look after me,
when a big wave came up, dragged me in like a rag;
the next thing I knew, I watched dolphins play tag
by an island so fresh, unexpectedly clean
that I had to look twice at the spark'ling pure green!
I played tag with the dolphins until it got late,
then I I looked all around to see what to create!
I was hungry and cranky, and wanted to sleep
but I knew without asking that the waves were too deep
to support sleeping humans; I had to swim home!
Didn't quite mean to travel so far, all alone!
So, I washed back on shore, not a moment too soon--
just off shore, to confuse me, saw a massive sand dune!!
I got back to my spot on the beach by the sea,
and there was my writing, still waiting for me!
