PLAYING THE GAME
Why should I be frustrated If I am not admired? None can always get what is So ardently desired. Life consists of give and take; It is a two way street. Sometimes we just go ahead And sometimes we retreat. Whether I get praise or hate, Does not matter at all. I must walk the duty’s path Without stumble or fall. When the Day of Judgment comes He’ll write against my name Not whether I won or lost But how I played the game. • Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 syllabic format. M C Gupta 30 August 2009
