You think you live in a perfect world
but your just dreaming about the life you wish to have.
Look around you do you see? All the politicians are corrupt
and the media is bribed to keep it to themselves
and instead turn the cameras toward some celebrity that got caught with cocain.
They don't want the anchorman to speak the truth.

"And then at ten we have the president lying through his teeth
and a soldier coming home to no family
cause some fool took a swig from the bottle then hit the gas"

All I want is the truth thats all we need.
Why can't we have it? I'll tell you why
they want us to stay in dreamland forever
but if we play by their rules we will never truly succeed.
