20-100 words

Word Count Bonuses
Weekly word count goals are based on the average word count required to reach 50,000 by the end of the month. The minimum daily average needed is 1,667 words and the weekly word count goals aim for slightly more than this.
Week One: 12,000 words by the 7th
Week Two: 24,000 words by the 14th
Week Three: 36,000 words by the 21st
Week Four: 48,000 words by the 28th
Anyone reaching these goals will receive a 2,000gp bonus for each goal. It's not necessary to reach each goal in turn in order to get the next one; for example if you only make it to 8,000 by the 7th but put on a spurt and pass 24,000 by the 14th you will get the bonus for the 14th.
Everyone who hits 50,000 words will receive a further bonus of 2,000gps.
Highest Word Count
The person who reaches the highest overall word count at the end of NaNoWriMo (as verified via the website, so make sure you keep updating your word count and submit your novel for verification!) will receive a Merit badge from a choice of NaNoWriMo Winner, Congratulations or Success.
