The Good Man

I have to endure, though
I would rather not, but I
have tried to be the good man,
and if I vanished who
would suffer from the loss?

The bullies just love me,
the users as well.
If I disappeared they
would miss me and
condemn me to hell.

To be the good man,
I have lost to losers, been
laughed at by looters, and
held back by holders—
Speaking of holding, it's

the banal I hold brazen, and
if I must bear bloodsuckers
on my back as well, then
as the good man, I will
embrace this hell.
