Lilacs are such lovely flowers
Lavender lace blooms Sweetly scenting The early summer air Lavender lace blooms Growing in mass behind our school The early summer air Thick with nature’s perfume Growing in mass behind our school An invitation to load our arms Thick with nature’s perfume And taste her sweetness past the moment of discovery An invitation to load our arms We answer greedily And taste her sweetness past the moment of discovery Savoring our freedom a while longer We answer greedily Adorning our milieu Savoring our freedom a while longer Because our desks were laden with boughs of purple Adorning our milieu Lilacs are such lovely flowers Because our desks were laden with boughs of purple Sweetly scenting
