"Kiss"
I want you to kiss me on the cheek. Not a peck. Not a smack. Not a smooch, But a kiss. The kind when you hug my neck And genlty press your lips Against my unshaven smile, Dimples and all. Or like when I wake up on a cold morning While still you sleep, contented, And turn at the brush of my lips, Exhaling softly. I want you to kiss me on the cheek. It quiets me Like summer rain Or snow in November. Yes, your kiss.
