Rest In Peace.
The view from one of my windows, inspired me to write this poem.

Rest In Peace

A graveyard, such a peaceful place,
is treated with respect.
The old church has such style and grace,
I sit here to reflect.

A rising spire, so very high,
the sunlight through the trees.
A grieving widow, tear-filled eye,
down on her bended knees.

Your time will come and so will mine,
of this we can be sure.
Let's hope it's further down the line,
for death, there is no cure.

I love the quiet, and the calm,
and feel so happy here.
It is in life, we come to harm,
in death: nothing to fear.
