NEW PROMPT: Write a story or poem about being at the beach but, frustratingly, being unable (for whatever reason(s) you can come up with) to go into the ocean. STUCK AND DRY AGAIN So, once again, I'm stuck and dry!! With ALL that water, you'd think I would find a way to get right in, but then I falter, and begin to second-guess my cautious acts and realize I need more facts about the sensibility of swimming out there, life-guard free given my disabilities! Not only can I not swim (well); I hate the water--think it's HELL! Faced with that sad fact, I retreat, and smiling, stay in my hot seat! It's not designed for my comfort, but at the beach, serves as my PORT!
