Death's Promise
You never broke your promise, you've always been known for that.

You stab at my heart with a silver blade,
crimson blood drips from your finger tips.
Then you seal my death with a kiss from your lips,
laced with a bitter sweet, deadly poison.

I gasp for a breath as my head begins to spin,
"Why?" is all I can manage to say.
I search your soulless eyes for an answer,
there in the center of your iris it lays.

You swore to me long ago you'd love me,
till death forced our hearts to separate.
You've always been known as someone,
who'd never break a promise you made....
