Subservient

Seasonal patchwork, colors abound,
dropped from trees, gaudily crowned.
Nature's arms surround,
I am bound.
Fall.

Myriad textures litter the ground.
Farewell message, most profound.
Nature's arms surround,
I am bound.
Pall.

Greens of summer now wilted and browned.
Soon winds of winter will hound.
Nature's arms surround,
I am bound.
Thrall.
