Solemn footsteps, crisp and deep,
under flakes, quietly sleep. The midnight sky, clear and black, while winter snow gently weeps. Not a soul to witness here, man's surrender to his tears, cleansing cries in dampened woods, pride's strangle: no longer feared. Arms aloft and gaze subdued, for life's burdens, I've accrued. To the canvas, white, below, pain's released in empty spew. Sunlight glimpses through the trees for broken man on bended knee. A Hopeful dawn breaks the chill, heaven's reward for heartfelt plea.
