Angels
His silver wings carried him across the sky.

The mother smiled as the boy learned to fly
His silver wings carrying him across the sky

A beautiful symphony the angels played
And towards the notes the child sailed.

The notes danced and fluttered up high
The boy amazed as they passed him by

He reached for the music melting away
But his little wings pulled him astray

He was determined to try and try again
To touch a single note before the end

As the last note floated in the air,
He caught it with most tender care.

The mother watched, her eyes filled with love
For this child of hers who soared up above.
