Alarm clock nagging throughout painful eardrums. Barreling down highway seventy five running behind again oh why how could I do that? Accelerator forcibly applied adjusting seat while rubbing red eyes.
Raindrops begin echoing on glass cars pace quickens. Flashing lights overhead draws my gaze away from dash as the wheel is reared. Skidding followed by a scream bouncing through the grass over hard curbs stopping. Crying mother yells out in regret. Her son's erratic breathing soon quiets. Standing up dazed walking looking around blood mixing with water across pale face. Clicking cuffs hold shaking wrist before cold leather comforts me asleep.
