Fiercely protecting my young Respecting elders with reverence Willing to share what I've learned Knowing the wisdom of silence I see beyond the horizon I travel far on foot I sense the things around me I never have to look. My spirit floats at sunset It yearns to be outdoors Instinct leads with each step A red tail above me soars The keen hearing envelops my senses Nothing's undetected from me Even the shallowest breath I discover it with ease The forest is mine to admire Of Its scents I never tire each day I thank the Great Spirit who gave me the wolf as a guide. ~Mother Wolf/WW
