Green Tea
When sipping liquid botany More than water is infused Clear green warmth calms me When I am tired or confused When my soul’s cup is full to brim I do need this leaf-based broth Letting my mind slow down and swim Considering each step as a sloth Nature’s sacrificial cup now empty I once again feel blissfully in tune This tranquil herb like an apothecary Heals from dawning sun to fading moon by: Kimarie Manhart-Freeman
