Portray Me As I Am
Portray me when all is lost..

Portray me as I am—
A lonely soul that entrances, entangles, and encircles
All that you wished you were to be
All that you hoped you could see

Portray me not as I say—
An affronted man forgotten, dismayed, and bewitched
All the tears you wished you would view
All the strife you hoped you could brew

Portray me at my most fallacious reign—
When the fear of totality augments, matures, and deepens
All the abhorrence you wished I would affirm
All the rancor you hoped I could confirm

Portray me when all is consumed—
By fire’s bright heat that enraptures, enchants, and enthralls
All the rage you wished I would conceive
All the mania you hoped you could achieve

Portray me when all is terminated—
Into the depths of agony that perturbs, confounds, and inflames
All the detestation you wished I would perceive
All the animosity you wished I could believe
