Autumn

Pumpkins shining in the dark.
Leaves are falling in the park.
Trees are dressed in lovely gowns--
yellow, red, orange and brown.

October brings Halloween.
Kids in costumes will be seen.
Thanksgiving will follow soon.
Food so good it makes me swoon!

Scarecrows then will decorate
my front porch and garden gate.
Beautiful chrysanthemums
burst in bloom, when autumn comes.

I look forward every year
For the fall months to appear.
It’s my favorite time, you see.
Come celebrate fall with me!
