Your Conscience is Your Jury
by Lane Diamond September 24, 2009 Count: 15 (8-7) – 4 – 15 (8-7) – 4 Darkness lingers in black warning, though a raging spotlight glares. Leap from the wrath. Suffer through in silent mourning; not everyone feels or cares. Keep on the path. Brute shadows weigh upon new light, clouds thunder without remorse. Sift through the dread. Stand tall with firm resolve and fight; engage foes and hold steady course. Lift true your head. Monsters stalk from forest and field, spilling blood and casting ire. Fly through the fear. Prepare your weapons and your shield; aim reliably and fire. Cry no false tear. Protestors scream and gather round, fomenting force and fury. Fling off the wrong. Take the road calm without a sound, your conscience is your jury. Sing your own song.
