Wrappers crimple in rake
Sore hands,
Treat-lotion smears
Sticky sugar,
Behind cautious eyes.

Two lips smudge
Small painted cheeks,
While zombies duck out
Holding extra mischief.

Jack's orange guts
Smashed roadside-
Pumpkins the brisk air
Season alive...
