I’m not sure what I’m trying to cover,
maybe it’s everything? The fear and pain of looking at myself, working on myself and risking failure? The ground is always shaking, while my world is falling down. But the sun will rise tomorrow, if I just give it another chance. Risk and the rottenness of rewards, subtle temptations of the spirit within. Selling ourselves short of our greater goals, because money buys our creature comforts. Houses are built to contain the body, and food designed to feed it? So how then have we ignored the soul, no nourishment in this enlightened age? The venture to know thy self, is the endeavor to learn of God. Learning to greet the day with love, and a kindness for every events arising. I’ve weathered the storm battered not beaten, carried your burdens as well as my own. I stand firm on my two feet now, and move forward on faith alone.
