Let Me Give

God, what can I do to help in some way?
Show my gratitude for Your help each day.
I am always taking and never once giving.
But, expect life to go as is and keep living.

I am tired of taking and never giving to You.
I want to tell others of Your precious love.
I am a man who has only his pen to write.
From my heart I can tell others what is right.

Maybe I should have been a preacher in life?
I only have been close to You, for 20 years.
A change it was from a sinner to a Christian.
From a person with no future to reality of love.

God, if I can do the right thing in Your eyes?
Then this is what I want to do with my days.
You have given me so much love, master.
I could not begin to repay it, but I'll try God.
