Vampire Versus Werewolf

Vampires and werewolves are well known rivals,
And always on the prowl for new arrivals.
Maybe these two here can break the chain,
Push past the curses, the legends, the pain.
Is killing justified by war, does it make it right?
Rivalries between these clans start at night,
Every time they end in a bloodthirsty fight.

Vampire who was, in this case, called Pan,
Evil-eyed the hairy, foul-smelling wolf-man.
Rubin the wolf growled, showing a fang,
“Such an impatient creature”, Pan sang.
Under his skin, the wolf’s blood was bubbling,
So true to his race, his impatience was doubling.

“Would you make your move so I can win?”
Every part of the wolf was shaking, outside and in.
“Really now be a nice doggy”, the smirking Vampire said,
“Every move I have to think about, don’t lose your head”.
Werewolf’s patience was reaching its brim,
Of course the grinning Vampire was teasing him.
Losing his cool, the wolf glared at him hard,
Finally, the worried Vampire laid down a card.
