The Breeze

I closed my eyes and felt
a cool breeze past me.
and heard the rustle of leaves
shedding off a tree.

The breeze I breathed
Brought the scent same
It bounced in my body
Breathless I became

I stopped looked down
At autumn’s confetti
My name in your voice
Ringing all through me.

My eyes fleeted around
For you but never came
The breeze had teased me
And I enjoyed its game
