My Will
A simple poem

This item has no ratings.
The starlit sky looks upon me,
a billion eyes wovern within a blanket.
They speak to me,
they call to me.
I know now why I am here.

I check myself.
Everything is in place.
Wait.
My letter?
The bedside cabinet. Damn.

Forget it.
I move onwards anyway.
My will is strong.
I will prevail.
I must.

The moon hides behind its wall of clouds.
Coward.
The blood that is to be shed tonight is tainted.
It has to be done.
I cannot be led astray.

I am he, the chosen one.
