Crashing, splashing waterfall
Of excitement, thrills and chills All new beginnings, all goosebumps Both in love with the sensations The discoveries together made, The flowers that pass so quickly Shared poetry in water music An electric kissing crash. Reaching the creek below They slow down, spilling over Boulders and pebbles That give some thrills, Some chills, but calmer Not so much drama, but some. Enough, he says, but she Misses the flowers and the goosebumps. The creek dwindles to a stream Not fast enough for boulders Slipping quietly over pebbles Passing flowers wilting in the sun No drama ripples the surface No crashing, splashing thrills. Enough, he says, but she Misses the excitement of new beginnings.
