My name is Captain Grady.
I’m a pirate, if you please. Some grown-ups like to say that I’m a terror on the high seas! I’ve got a trusty cutlass and a parrot that can talk! If you don’t play nice with me, then, a gang-plank you will walk! My mom bought me an eye patch. She thought I looked really cool. At least, until I wanted to wear all this stuff to school! Now don’t go telling Mommy, but, I had to have a flag! I found a new white tablecloth and some markers in her bag. My daddy’s got a new boat. There’s some paint out in his shop. I think I’ll make a pirate ship! Shhhh! Or they might make me stop! When my ship has been painted I will sail it with such ease, ‘cause, my name is Captain Grady, I’m a terror on the high seas!
