Urdu:  Ger khaamashi say faaida ikhfa e haal hay
          Khush houn keh maeri baat samajhni muhaal hay

English:=== Oh, talking to the people I'd like to quit
                  For me they cannot understand a bit
                                            -

Urdu:  Kis ko sunaaoun hasrat e izhaar ka gila
          Dil ferd e jum o kharj e zabaanha e laal hay

English:=== The urge to talk cannot be overcome
                  Though I try to pretend I'm deaf and dumb
                                            -

Urdu:  Kis perday maen hay aaienaperdaaz aey Khuda
          Rehmat keh uzrkhaah e lab e baisawaal hay

English:=== I believe whatever will be, will be
                  So question I cannot whatever I see
                                              -

Urdu:  Hay, hay Khuda nakhaasta wo aur dushmani
          Aey shouq e munfa'il yeh tujhay kya khayaal hay

English:=== And careless and proud though she may be
                  I don't think she is my enemy
                                              -

Urdu:  Mushkeen libaas e Kaaba Ali kay qadam say jaan
          Naaf e zameen hay na keh naaf e ghizaal hay

English:=== The shroud of Kaaba is because of Ali
                  And millions of people around it rally
                                              -

Urdu:  Wehshat pay maeri arsa e aafaaq tang hay
          Darya zameen ko araq e infa'al hay

English:=== My grief is huge, and the world is small
                  They create an ocean where my tears fall
                                              -

Urdu:  Hasti kay mat faraib maen aa jaaio ASAD
          Aalam tamaam halqa e daam e khayaal hay

English:=== And, GHALIB my friend, it's my conclusion
                  That this world of ours is just an illusion           
                                            ====
