Looking Back
When is it time to quit looking back?

When does a person quit looking back at their life and start looking ahead? I think sometimes as we get older we have a tendency to think about what we have been through and it holds us back from enjoying the present and the future.

I am guilty of this! My mind wanders and I start thinking of my childhood or my teenage years. It was not pleasant and people hurt me. But how long do I let them keep controlling me and make me miserable? Thats what happens when you keep those memories alive by thinking about them constantly.

I need to let them go and enjoy today before my todays are in the past. I need to make new happy memories! My todays are what I'm willing to let them be and I refuse to knuckle under to things that happened in the past. My future is what I make it and the past no longer has any power over me!

If any of you feel the same way just drop me a quick note. Thanks Leila
