Confidence
        by Miss Wopplebop  (hobbes@Writing.Com)
I am not a writer.
I just jot down what I think.
And when the words get on the page
My pain begins to shrink.

I am not a singer.
My words just come as song.
And with the glances that I get
They do not last for long.

I am not a dancer.
I just twirl atop the ground
And because I lack in confidence
I like no one around.

I am not an artist.
I just doodle when I'm free.
I dare not show another soul
It's just for me to see.

I am not an actress.
I just know what I should say.
Sometimes I play my part so well
I forget my own true way.

I am not a poet.
I just like to write in rhyme.
It really isn't much at all
Just enough to pass the time.
