Amongst us they are
We see them all the time.
They follow us around,
Even while driving a car.
They are on all of our walkways,
Just daring us to try and flee.
They laugh and play with us,
Funny creatures, only out on days.
They become more gruesome
With each passing of the hour.
You can’t escape this evil,
Walk or run, they will still come.
What monster is above and below,
stalking us during daylight hours?
Sneaky little devils they can be,
Are you afraid of your own shadow?
