Dark Side of an Unread Book Pressed within the closed book, they writhe upon the pages in unbreathing silence — forgotten characters — with their stories long buried in flat darkness. Between each line, throughout each neglected page, their ghosts wander among the skeletons of empty words mingling midst the smell of musty paper. They long for just a breath, a new beginining, so the bones of words may rise from the dust, put on flesh and live again.
