The child of long ago
Sealed in a photo frame The elfin smile, Those golden curls Always-- Forever The tilt of the head, Her quiet eyes Little girl no more Little girl forever Lost, of course; Yet preserved To be remembered, Reflected in quiet, older, eyes Who else cares But the little girl inside?
