Once a year they all gathered together;
the classic monsters of the silver screen. The Baron brought in cooks and masters for the most dreadful meals ever seen. For the Mummy, a Pharaoh stew; Simmered scarabs sprinkled with sand. No bandages could contain him, he ate it all up with a decayed hand. Old Dracula was a quick and easy fix; Long and lean, she was a red-haired treat. She sat in a trance with a green-eyed stare, the Count was satisfied with blood this sweet. The Werewolf was not so easy to please; Blood and guts with a hint of an old Gypsy. No less would appease his hungry growl, by full moon he would be howling and tipsy. Now Frankenstein was a more gentle soul; not sure what to make out of the table of dread. No habits to indulge in people, blood or gore, he sat with his bowl of daisies, just shaking his head! ~20 lines Day 5 - Prompt: "What's cookin' ~ let your inner alchemist out, and cook up a horrifying poem fit for a banquet..."
