Vision of a Second-Rate Student from D1B
A poem about my social studies/english class.

Can you tell me how Abraham
His many sons bore?
Can you tell me the events
That led to a war?
Recite now the Presidents
From your memory.
You don't know all about Pierce;
How can this be?
"Open your textbooks to
Chapter One hundred four."
My isn't this class
Just such a bore?
Yesterday we were on
Page twenty-four!
Now it is time for
Us to learn analogies.
This is a quiz
That you can fail with ease.
The literature part,
It's no problem,
But to the others my
Society is a goblin.
So why can't I get a good
Grade in that room?
Could it be the teacher
Rides on a broom?
Nonsense! She is just
All too nice.
Is not her name the
Great Misses Tice?
Conclusion: It's that
Campbell fellow;
He's always behind
And never mellow.
