Today I Cried

Today I cried because of you.
You broke my heart in two.
All I did was give you my love.
I thought it was true enough.

You were seen all over town.
Kissing and fooling around.
I wish you had told me before.
You did not want me any more.

I gave my love to you forever.
Not given by you to another.
Gave you freedom if you asked.
Let you go not held you back.

Our love I thought was strong.
When did it simply go wrong?
I gave my word took my vows.
Love forever and look at us now.
