On The Ropes

On the ropes of life I sit,
in my mind, am I fit.
Into the open I stare,
for myself is there any care?

My agony, is all I can see,
do you know the real me?
Can you feel my soul,
can you tell it is not whole?

The truth is somewhat amiss,
I am lost in the abyss.
Somewhere behind a cloud,
my screams are loud.

On my knee's I am pleading,
my heart is red from bleeding.
So scarred is my mind,
control is hard to find.

Is there an answer in the sky,
do I have to die?
Have I misplaced my fate,
is it really too late.

Is there anything to gain,
from all this pain?
In life can I win,
or am I doomed in sin.

Am I really so sad,
or am I wanting to be mad.
Have I gone insane,
just to keep away the rain!!
