Grumpy Old Man

They say men get grumpy in their old age?
I guess that it is true cause I am getting old.
And I am certainly grumpy just ask my wife.
She treats me like a king upon his throne.

But, I get snappy with her when she is home.
Has life treated me so bad I have lost my love?
Time and again I am sorry for my actions.
Then turn right around and jump her again.

Being sorry don't take away the hurt I create.
OH! God help me to stop this terrible habit.
I don't want to continue this bad that I have.
Cleanse my body of this unwanted demon.

Is this old Satan trying to spread His hate?
Trying to cast a haunting demon my way?
I must be strong and fight this thing in me.
Expel it from my body for all of my eternity.

All Christian's are challenge by old Satan.
I'll face Him with God strength by my side.
Take away Your hate and your demon two.
I don't need something reminds me of you.

I want to live in peace alongside my God.
Not put up with You Satan like it or not.
I am a God fearing man and I'll always be.
For God almighty takes good care of me.

So be on Your way you Devilish old man.
I'll be just find here touched by God's hand.
Go find another who may need Your help.
Just forget about me and all You have felt.
