Twas the night before All Saints Day
and all through the tombs not a creature was at home. They were out in costumes. The stores had been raided in prep for this night. The gore and the gaudy must be put on just right. Their fangs were all polished. Their capes were all pressed. Ghosts , witches and goblins all looked their best. *witch-hat* Their trick- or- treat bags were clutched in their hands. Their tummies would soon fill with the night’s contraband. Then out in the dark there arose such a clatter. Everyone whirled to see what was the matter! What to their wondering eyes did they see? It was a miniature space ship and out hopped E.T. Mickey and Minnie strolled by arm in arm. And even the mummies could do no harm. A veritable parade of characters came. Laughing and giggling, having fun was their aim. *witch-hat* I heard them exclaim as they walked out of sight “Happy Halloween to all!” It was a great night!
