OCEANS
(April 21, 2009)

Another crawling day
By the soothing ocean
Caressing the inner me
Deep to the core, washing away
Every scar imprinted within
From the love turned bitter
Gnawing at my heart.
Here I am in the safety,
In the comfort of this force
Jolting me back to life,
Knowing that with times' passing
Love will bloom once more,
Making me whole again,
Never letting me wither.
Oh how the love will spill its waves,
Penetrating me inch by inch,
Quenching my thirst for beauty
Resting, waiting to unfold.
Spring will open its wings
To the magic, to the love hidden
Under the snowy plains of sleep.
Velour kisses of the sun
Will fill my vacant heart
Xanthic from winter’s rotten fruit,
Yanking me to the healing light,
Zenith of life enwrapping me still.
