Urdu:  Saadgi per us ki mer jaanay ki hasrat dil maen hay
          Bus naheen chalta keh phir khanjer kuff a qaatil maen hay

English:=== Oh, she is so smiple, when she takes my life
                  She wants to kill me with a dagger or a knife
                                            -

Urdu:  Daekhna taqreer ki lazzat keh jo us nay kaha
          Maen nay yeh jaana keh goya yeh bhee maeray dil maen hay

English:=== On her keen perception I'm totally hung
                  For what I'm thinking is on her tongue
                                            -

Urdu:  Gercheh hay kis kis buraaie say walay baa een hama
          Zikr maera mujh say behter hay keh us mehfil maen hay

English:=== And even though bad, when they talk about me
                  I feel as proud as I possibly can be
                                              -

Urdu:  Bus hujoom e naaumeedi, khaak maen mil jaay gi
          Yeh jo ik lazzat hamaari see e baihaasil maen hay

English:=== I don't mind failing; I'm that kind of a guy
                  Who feels very happy whenever he can try
                                              -

Urdu:  Ranj e reh kuin kheenchiay, waamandgi ko ishq hay
          Uthh naheen sakta hamaara jo qadam manzil maen hay

English:=== But I'm so tired, I do not care
                  Whether I stay or go somewhere
                                                -

Urdu:  Jalwazaar e aatish e dozakh hamaara dil sahi
          Fitna e shoer e qayaamat kis ki aab o gil maen hay

English:=== My heart is on fire; it is like hell
                  And she's a bombshell, that beautiful belle
                                                -

Urdu:  Hay dil e shoreeda e GHALIB tilism e paich o taab
          Rehm ker apni tamanna per keh kis mushkil maen hay

English:=== And, GHALIB, I'm burning with a mad desire
                  And it is consuming my being entire
