What is this societal
obsession
with tragedy? Cruelty??
Unnecessary death??
Incurable, inexplicable,
deadly illness??
Whatever happened to
unbridled happiness??
Unwarranted
random acts of kindness
in the larger world??
Why can't we
make it
all turn around??
Why can't we just
pretend
to play nice??


I am really tired of "reality" shows which paint the world as a combat zone with all of us as the downtrodden victims.
