I would often drop in for a cup of coffee,
after a long weary work day. I never knew He sent one of his angels, to this little uptown cafe. That is where I saw you first, and fell for you right away. I could spend an entire lifetime, sipping and watching you all day. That is how I felt for you, thirsty for a glimpse of those eyes. now I'm eager for my day to end, I wish there was no sunrise. Will you be mine, oh angel? I've got lots of love, though I don't own a car. But if you want I can promise, to open a small coffee bar. And if you chose to become mine, baby I can always guarantee, I'll surely make my love for you, sweeter than your coffee. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that you'll say yes to me. And even if you choose otherwise, I can watch you like this for ages... over a cup of coffee.
