There's a wildfire
that's burning through the fields of my mind.
A wildfire
that leaves nothing but ash behind.
Sparked by manic behavior,
raging relentlessly, such a disaster.
The suffocating smoke billows to my skies,
erasing the blue, and making it dark as night.
The once gold fields are now left in ashes,
so quickly it comes and so quickly it passes.
Nothing but destruction is left behind,
unable to control that fire that burns in my mind.
Sparked by manic behavior,
raging relentlessly, such a disaster.
