Character Sketch: Knight-Errant (esquire?) – Gerald?
Height: @5’10”
Weight: @185lbs.
Hair: Strawberry Blonde but his beard comes in dark reddish-brown
Eyes: Hazel
Skin: Sun-bronzed
Age: @25 years old
Strong, even features—and broad shoulders, a rather plain looking man, but one with the manners of a Prince. He is well educated and an excellent swordsman and appreciates a good horse. (Horse flesh is more about the appearance of the thing, whereas he appreciate the animal’s intelligence and its willingness to work.)
He has taken service with the Lord Sherriff, whose lands contain the great forest, (where the elves live, protecting the ancient trees). There is no love interest and when he meets Eleanor they are wary of each other. It isn't unitl she rescues him from the Marquessa's cluthces that they start working together against her. He is very observant, loves music and can play the lute. He can also read and write and is teaching the Sherriff's two sons (and his wife). He has a sister Magdelaine, who is married to a petty knight of the court. His parents are dead, but he has a cousin who is a ships captain.
