Mystic
Editor Shadows, a tri-yearly e-zine of The Paper Doll Gang http://www.writing.com/main/books/item_id/1539232 Dear Mystic: Throughout time mothers have worried about their children. My free form poem, “Cliff Dwellings, Near Sedona,” is one mother’s reflections on history that applies to both modern mothers and Native American mothers, and all those in between. As a mother of four and a teacher for forty years, a hike into the cliff dwellings inspired reflection on the vulnerability that mothers have always felt. The resulting poem is enclosed for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Di dstaley@writing.com
