A Special Place Called Home

The garden of Eden was a lovely place
The beginning of civilization and the human race
But, Adam was deceived by Eve his wife
To eat the fruit from the tree of life

That was the beginning of Satan's evil plan
To bring havoc and sin to God's sacred land

But, God had a plan for you and me
He sent Jesus Christ to set us free
He died upon a rugged old cross
To save the sinners, that are lost

He rose again on that third day
He is the Truth, the Life, the only Way
He has prepared a place to call your own
It is a beautiful, divine heavenly home

That was the end of Satan's evil plan
Jesus defeated death, hell and the grave by taking a stand

I'll see Him face to face in that special place
Once I've completed my earthly race
There will be no more sorrow and no more tears
I'll sit at His feet for a thousand years

I'll sing songs of praise in the Heavenly choir
Singing Holy, Holy, Holy hour after hour
