On our Anniversary

When I started walking this journey with you,
never did I dream I would live
a life beyond imaginations.
Before we tethered ourselves
in this bond of togetherness,
a fear kept lurking deep inside me
and kept on ruffling the depths of my heart.
How would I share my life with you?
Will I manage to make my every "mine", "our"?
Difficult though, it was you who made it look easy,
baby you made our life worth living.
and with time I've realized,
that being without you feels
like a fish out of water.
Not that its been a smooth sail,
yes there have been tussles,
there have been misunderstandings.
But at the end of every fight,
you seem to come closer to me.
I treasure you my love,
for I've lent my soul to you.
Hope we live every moment like this,
our love just multiplying every second.
This bond of ours is meant for eons to come
I promise I'll never let it fade away.(/center)
