Whatever happened, I want you to tell me.
Everything went from good to bad.
Don't say I made you so sad.
I don't gotta tell you what to do to be.
Take faith in your place, make your case;
change your face and quit the race.
Your eyes are so deep, your smile so pretty.
I can't believe you just talked to me like that.
You seem to act like you just don't know where it's at.
Don't listen to anyone, you blew my heart out of me.
So, you can leave now, you can go.
I won't care to go and see your show.

If you see me again, don't say hi.
You don't know what you did to me, how so.
I don't care what you do from here-on, just know
that I'm still struggling to get by.
You kill me every day, you steal my pay;
don't hang around and stay, it's way past May.
I won't ask you how, nor shall I ask why.
Someday, I'll be fine. Someday, I'll be well.
And when the time comes, you'll be able to tell
that you were the one for me, the day I die.
So, you can leave now, you can go.
I won't care to go and see your show.

I remember when you pointed at that star.
I used to think that you were nice and kind.
Still, now that you're gone, you're still deep inside my mind.
I bought you a dog, and I bought you a car;
does that mean a thing to you, if you knew
what I'd do, just to keep you from passing through.
You scarred me, you left more than just a scar.
One night, you left me stranded in a pretty dream.
Since you said you loved me, it would seem
that you'd be back, but my world you marred.
So, you can leave now, you can go.
I won't care to go and see your show.

You were my queen, you said I was your king.
I would've asked you to be wife,
but you left me alone, and left me with strife.
I bought you a ticket for our honeymoon, bought you a ring.
Not that you're near, but listen close, dear,
I know you won't come back here, but never fear.
Without you, I can't write, I can't eat, I can't sing.
Your skin is fair, and your gaze was soft.
My love for you, ain't something I can turn off.
You think you're some goddess, some angelic being.
So, you can leave now, you can go.
I won't care to go to and see your show.

I'm sitting here, worthlessly alone, in the hall.
Life ain't about dancing in the rain,
it's about having the biggest shield from the pain.
I can't believe you, you have so much gaul
to think I'm so cruel, but you're the beating on the mule.
In the spider's silky spool of oily fuel
lies the source of your endless and pointless call.
Can you remember the day you were born?
I do, your scornful mother gave birth to you on the Matterhorn.
I won't make it through the winter, I'll die before spring.
So, you can leave now, you can go.
I won't care to go to and see your show.
